Early Church Example still followed

Yesterday, I had a Church friend who hopefully will become a friend as I call him now. Last Saturday, my wife and I were unable to babysit their children because of prior commitments. One may wonder if one say they are able to do something and the first time they are asked to do something if 'said persons' will be asked again. I hope so. Back to the story.

Omar helped me out of his busy schedule of painting in his house to help move an entertainment center out of my house. This took a total of 20 minutes plus his drive time to our house.
I really appreciated this and it made think of the early Christian example of the early church members helping each other out as they had needs.

Have you made the choice today? you may say one way is as good as another.

stop the self-delusion. There is a void. It can only be filled with God's Love and the example in which He exhibited how much value is placed on our worth to be in the presence of His love.

Serve Him by serving others. Show others the better way to live this life. By word and deed. By the lives we live. Change or continue to be stagnant. The circle must be broken in order to be open to the limitless possibilities that awaits our live. Live it to the full.

Anything less will fail in living out the purpose of this (life).

The wandering soul

I notice how people of this modern area struggle with identity and place in this world. (I struggled with it.)

Humans are infected with a void inside. It eats at the psyche. A recent movie I watched, Into the Wild,

showed this void and one person's attempt to fill it. A favorite punk song touches on this subject.
