It amazes me when human ingenuity occurs.
When humans improvise.
When we show some of our potential of collaborative efforts along with individual drive.
What we as humans could accomplish when we wish to.
Emulate the One that created us is the purpose of this life.

Let us start living it and change the things around us.
With the I AM, we can achieve many things
Change me inside, O God. Let it infect those around me. Viral spiral of the Holy Spirit
A revival

How long can one endure

Endurance - run the race set before you.

Even Paul talked about a thorn in his side that despite all his successes he was unable to remove.
Was this thorn a perpetual sin? It is tough dealing with one's own sin.
How does one change a habitual action?
Easy answer - God's Grace and the blood of Christ is sufficient for me.
Hard answer - Mental and physical conditioning yourself to follow God instead of one's sinful nature.
Salvation is an immediate and progressive act.
Change is instant and occurs over time.
The will of Christ in us can overcome all things.
Convincing oneself and changing course in our turmultous lives is hard.
Perserverance.
Big Words, Tough action.
Live out the Purpose of This life which we are giving.

Be like Zachi

I want to see more him 'cause i'm sick of more me
want to be like Zachi in the sycamore tree
- i promise, i promise

2 months is a long time

One begins to wonder if any goals are being achieved after a period of time. So in the effort to document my living out the 'Purpose of This' life and you dialin' in. Introspection: I still struggle with the same crap. Is there any one to listen that I would trust. Nope. Only God. Am I getting better at living out the Purpose of This life? Nope. I enter the doldrums more often than most (in my opinion). So why continue?
so why strive?

1 Corinthians 9:24

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
Galatians 2:2
I went in response to a revelation and set before them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. But I did this privately to those who seemed to be leaders, for fear that I was running or had run my race in vain.

Galatians 5:7
You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth?

Hebrews 12:1
[ God Disciplines His Sons ] Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

1 Thessalonians 1

1Paul, Silas[a] and Timothy,
To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace and peace to you.[b]
2We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. 3We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

4For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. 6You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. 7And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia. 8The Lord's message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it, 9for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

2 years and counting

See my previous post of Lent in 2009.

I wonder this year is different than the last. It seems the same. Whose to blame? Me and sin-self. Time for self-examination, sacrifice, and ...crap I always forget the third point. The point is I cannot do this on my own. Can I live with who I am for the next 56 years?
How can I take joy in the fact of helplessness?
How can I overcome the obstacles preventing me from reaching the finish line?
So the three questions are:

What is my definition of a happy marriage?
Am I in a happy marriage?
why or why not?
