Many of us have heard the remarks before. Take the road less taken. Move to your own drumbeat. Go against the Flow. Fools them all I say. The illusion of controlling one's movement or path one travels is a common one. Coming to the realization that one cannot control everything should be enlightening. Many feed themselves the line of baloney, "I control my own destiny." Wake up, o ye Disillusioned. Your destiny upwards lies in the fact that the outside interactes with you and limits your mobility. Your born environmental conditions may limit the thinking needed to find the purpose of this life. Just remember the adage, "Who is your worst enemy and greatest ally? You." Remember that sci-fi book where scientist take a trip. One of them lands on a planet where a huge brain dictates the rhythm of the inhabitants. The scientist sees a little boy bouncing a ball offbeat. Next day, the boy is in a chamber forcibly made to conform.
When you feel out of sync and feel a trip to Schmitt Music is in order for a fine tuning, just remember. Timing is never right for whatever endeavor you are undertaking. The stars don't line up. You may be outofstep with those around you but remember to stay "You".
