a decision to make
my wife says last night something she has said at least a couple times. I want family devotions but I want you as the head of the household to lead. I don't comment because this is one of my struggles. I know I should but right now, I don't want to. Why? I don't know. mostly anxiety and apprehension. I will try Thursday and start from there. will I reach a point where I can say I am living the purpose of this life?

continuation
how long must one struggle with something before being victorious?
A continuation of a struggle. Is it lack of self-control? Why do I not question where is God's help in this?
Well, I don't question that but I most often question, What can I do about? Failure ..dum dum dum.. is not an option.

being thankful
focusing on the things one does have instead of what one does not have. Being Thankful. Black Friday is for the greedy hordes that try to get what one does not have and save money.

what one is responsible for?
now you may think that the question is improperly worded. No. What one is responsible for is the reactions one exhibit to the situation they are in. It is not possible to rational all the time but kindness and self-control are necessary for one to be successful. Also, empathy and humility. What one is responsible for is helping others and serving God wherever one may.
That is what one is responsible for not stuck asking the question, "What is one responsible for?"

double standards
when one is reminded by another that one has to be responsible and organized with their things, one may comply with the observation. The hard part is when one knows one could observe back at the person who told them in the first place and see points where that person lacks accepting responsibility for their actions. Say car keys or cell phone as some examples for things to be responsible with. Habits can be formed so losing these items. But I hate when people have a double standard when it comes to this. It is impossible! But dealing with difficult people or situations are one of the purpose of this life that we are given to deal with.
argh.

progress
when you ask someone to help you out, and they say no. If you are okay with a 'no' answer, then one has reached a level of progress in maturity that most people stew over and try to manipulate the person to help out against their will.
