it's living that counts

Well, i was listening to the sermon today and received a few good things i can apply throughout this week. It's not about witnessing. It's about living. Living out ur faith. Human contact.

Jesus didn't just come to do his thing but to establish contact with humans again since sin has removed us from his presence. We can't as Christians live in our culture. Christian church. Christian activities. How many non-Christians do we know and how often do we hang out with them so that Christ is visible to us in our lives but to others? How we live our lives is more important then just saying it.
Living out the purpose set before us given in the example of Jesus is the point.

Stop holding on to the rock in the middle of the raging river, going whew! i am safe and can rest for awhile to get out of this raging river. God is the raging river and we need to flow where he takes us and stop doing things we do that are safe. We are not called to safety but a life of risk. After all, that is a worthwhile purpose. Risky prop, but well worth it.
